A voice first heard as a child on Karachi stages.
Imran Behleem began performing as a child singer in Karachi in 1981. Within four years he was singing weekly on national television and performing for the President of Pakistan.
From 1985 to 1987 he sang every week on the national TV programme Sung Sung Chalien, conducted by Sohail Rana. For four consecutive years he performed at the country's official 14 August Independence Day ceremonies, at the Presidency, President House and Parliament House in Islamabad, and received a Gold Medal from the President in 1985.
He later carried his music to North America, playing Independence Day celebrations in New York and Washington D.C. and touring the continent with the band Avengers in 1992–93. Today he composes at the piano and keyboard. His instrumental album Time, made up entirely of his own compositions and played by him, is available on Apple Music.
